Radio drama is making a comeback, and it’s doing so right here in Busan. And you could be a part of it! Big Data, a 9 episode series written and directed by Busan-based cartoonist Ryan Estrada, is looking for voice actors.
Big Data will feature a mix of actors from around the globe. Performers from the Busan English Theatre Association, Shakespeare in Busan, The Ha Ha Hole, Busan Spoken Word and Poetry Plus will be acting alongside big name guest stars from all over the world.
The list of top secret guest stars so far are collectively responsible for one Oscar nomination, seven Emmy nominations a Berlin Film Festival Silver Bear, appearances in both the Marvel AND DC cinematic universes, and a Teen Choice Awards “Choice Movie Villain” nomination.
Big Data is inspired by the true story of seven people from seven countries who hold keys to control the internet. This fictional tale features seven teams of thieves who’ve set out to steal those keys and shut down the internet. Their plans range from hacking top secret military satellites in Central America to stealing a key out of a dude’s pants at a Busan jimjilbang.
Auditions will be held on November 14, 2015 at The HQ Bar, near Kyungsung University. More information can be found here: www.facebook.com/events/
