Another video (which has since been pulled) of unruly customers abusing workers rights is once again making the rounds in Korea.
The 90-second video of a customer scolding two kneeling workers at Shinsegae Department Store in Incheon has angered people, saying that the woman customer abused the worker’s rights.
The video shows a female customer sitting and yelling at two kneeling female workers who explained to her that she would need to pay for a repair to an item because the warranty had expired. She did eventually get the repair for free, yet still yelled at the pair for their “poor service”.
Shinsegae said that the workers kneeled “on their own” according to local reports, and that the two females are “currently off work after suffering from depression.”
The footage is another in a string of videos gone viral, including an incident earlier this year in Bucheon, Gyeonnggi province when two wealthy customers made headlines by forcing parking lot attendants to kneel for two hours and humiliating them at Hyundai Department Store.
