BUSAN, South Korea -- A new study shows that traffic on highways during the Chuseok holiday increased by 22 percent compared to last year. 

According to the study conducted by the Busan police agency, traffic on highways around Busan including Namhae highway during the holiday was some two million cars, which was increased by about 22 percent compared to last year's figures. 

One-hundred car accidents occurred during the holiday, 21 less than last year's total cases over the five-day Chuseok holiday.
