BUSAN, South Korea — The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency arrested two Cambodians who took pictures of a woman’s body. They secretly took photos of an 18-year-old woman named Jo on Haeundae Beach and stored them in their phones yesterday.
The police arrested another 41-year-old Korean man who took photos following a woman in her 20s for more than 300 meters.
The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency stated that it will reinforce the beach patrol, in order to prevent crime and illicit acitivies by the summer vacationers.
The police agency will dispatch 3-4 hundred officers at the Haeundae and Gwangalli beaches on weekdays and 5-6 hundred on weekends.
The police will focus on sex crimes, illicit disposing of waste, loud singing, drinking alcohol, and smoking in the non-smoking areas.
