There’s something to be said for those who look to help their friends in a bad situation, but one Busan teen took that advice a little too far.
A 17-year-old male was arrested this past Sunday for starting a brawl in a Busan police station in order to free his friends from police custody.
Three of the teen’s friends were apprehended Sunday morning around 2 a.m. for breaking into 15 cars at a church in Mandeok and were taken into custody by the Buk-bu police department.
After the officers took them to the station, the 17-year-old entered the station to try and free his friends by starting a fight with the officers that turned into a 20 minute altercation, though the officers were eventually able to restrain them.
The four are now facing obstruction of justice charges in addition to the attempted burglary charges for breaking into the vehicles.
