BUSAN, South Korea -- Pyeongchang, the small winter resort town about 180 km east of Seoul, finally succeeded in their third attempt to host the games, as they won the right to host the 2018 Winter Games at the 123rd Session of the International Olympic Committee General Assembly in Durban, South Africa.

Olympic Gold Medal winner Kim Yu-na's foray into the TV world has not gotten off to a succesful start.

Kim's show "Kiss and Cry" is a reality show that focuses on 10 Korean celebrities attempt to learn figure skating. Similar in style to a "Dancing with the Star's" theme, where a competitor is eliminated each week, the show has drawn low ratings for the SBS network, which was rumored to have spent a lot of money to secure Kim as its host.
