DAEJEON, South Korea -- Hwang Jae-kyun hit a two-run homer and Lotte pounded out 14 hits as the Giants finished their exhibition season with a 7-0 win over Hanwha.
The Giants finished the preseason an unimpressive 3-8, which showed few bright spots in the offense, while the pitching staff was up and down for most of the spring.

DAEJEON, South Korea -- The Lotte Giants bats continued to struggle this spring as they fell 2-1 to Hanwha. The Giants managed only six hits against the Eagles after only managing four the day before against a weaker NC team.
Yong Duk-han and Park Gi-hyuk both had two hits for Lotte in the game. Kim Seung-hui's bases loaded walk to Kim Kyung-eun in the sixth gave Hanwha a 2-1 advantage which they held on to for the win.
