GANGWON - The Busan I'Park's unbeaten streak of 13 games came to an end Saturday, with a 1-0 loss to last place Gangwon.

Lee Jung-ho's own goal in the 41st minute was the difference, as Busan could not get a shot past Gangwon keeper Yoo Hyun.

The loss was very disappointing for the I'Park, who missed a chance to move up in the standings, in what should have been an easy win against a winless team. However, coach Ahn Ik-soo insisted before the game that Gangwon were...

The Dugout

BUSAN, South Korea -- Choosing which bar to head out to for a drink is not an easy task in Busan, especially when you are hit from all sides with options almost every ten feet. Like restaurants, coffee and phone shops, they seem to take up about 70% of the business real estate around the city.

However, a new spot called Dugout, from long time American Busanite,  Johnny Jung, is just what the name says: a great place to watch the game. Located in the Kyungsung University district...

BUSAN - If you've been following the I'Park this season, you may have noticed that something's been missing - the foreign players.

Though the I'Park have been very successful on the pitch as of late, it's been nearly a month since any of the foreign players have taken the field.

Iain Fyfe is the only foreign player who remains with the club, though he has not been on the first squad of late. The Adelaide, Australia native scored one goal and appeared in 7 games...

BUSAN, South Korea -- It was his big, scared brown eyes that I noticed first. Running between the angry cars and impatient people one balmy Busan night, the little guy couldn’t speak, at least not with words. But those eyes, they said, “I’ve lost my mommy and my daddy and I don’t know what to do.” I picked up the flea-infested Shih Tzu, and eight months later, Noh Suk Jah (Korean for “The Tramp”) is still repaying me daily with love and laughter....
