NC Regains Top Spot in KBO

BUSAN, South Korea --  The NC Dinos hit six homeruns against the Nexen Heroes, breaking a team record for homeruns in a single game. The team also broke a record for hits in a game, with 21, and runs in a game, with 24. NC went on to win the game 24 to 5 in Seoul's Mokdong Stadium. 

With this win, NC has regained the top spot in the league after 20 days out of first. This win marks their second consecutive victory over Nexen giving the team a 19-12 record. 


KBO's Version of Cy Young Award to Begin this Year

SEOUL, South Korea -- The Choi Dongwon Award, the Korean version of Cy Young award, will be given to the best pitcher in the Korean Baseball Organization, November 11th. This will be the first award of its kind. 

The date of the award ceremony was in honor of Mr. Choi's jersey number, 11, and the first ceremony will be held in his hometown of Busan.

BUSAN, South Korea -- Former Major League Baseball (MLB) right-hander Kim Sun-woo on Monday signed with the LG Twins, a week after being released by the club's crosstown rival in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO).
