BUSAN, South Korea - Last December, Busan Aquarium in Haeundae came in contact with Keue Kunihiro, a 73-year-old fisherman living about an hour from Kagoshima, Japan. Kunihiro offered up an interesting proposition: Hammerhead Sharks. Apparently, he was privy to a spot off the Japanese coast where Hammerheads bred and offered the aquarium as many as they could hold.

You probably also know, from experience or from reading here, that motels often don't turn up in English-language searches and that a nice motel room will cost half or one-third what a hotel room will, and that your motel room will often have nicer stuff. BUSAN, South Korea - Running a surf contest in Busan is a pretty courageous undertaking--one would hardly call Haeundae a mecca for waves. Surfable conditions come about as often as a Lotte Giants win streak. When the waves do find the shore, they tend to be of the gutless, ankle-slapper variety.
