BUSAN, South Korea -- The Korea Meteorological Administration has warned against more possible riptides after strong rip currents at Haeundae Beach caused lifeguards to save 143 swimmers Saturday afternoon.

BUSAN, South Korea - To prevent children from getting lost at Busan’s most crowded beach during the summer, a free electronic wristlet rental service will be offered at Haeundae Beach, from July 1 until August 31, 2012. This service uses ubiquitous electronic technology.

The child’s guardian can locate their child wearing the electronic wristlet through his/her smart phone.
