Haeundae Bicycle Service Center Reopened for 2014

BUSAN, South Korea -- The Bicycle Service Center in Haeundae-gu, which had been closed during the cold winter months, reopened in early March.

The center, located along the Suyeong riverside under the Jwasuyeong-gyo Bridge (Suyeong Bridge No. 3) and next to Centum Middle School, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until June and will be closed in July and then be reopened again from August to December.

BUSAN, South Korea -- Haeundae-gu will install a Smart Warning System in 12 locations to warn individuals by recorded voice to not throw away garbage. The 12 locations are problem spots for people throwing away garbage. 

If a person is approached for illegally throwing away garbage, the announcement and the video recording start automatically.

BUSAN, South Korea -- Haundae sees the most frequent drunk driving accidents in the area, according to a new report by the Busan Branch office of KoRoad. 

The report states there are 3.2 DWI accidents every day with a fatality every 11 days on average over the last 5 years.
