CHANGWON - A 34-year-old businessman surnamed Lee was convicted by a Changwon court for the murder of a hostess girl last November.

The 28-year-old hostess surnamed Kim, was strangled to death when she refused his sexual advances. The girl was working as a hostess at a singing room, when she was taken to a hotel after drinking. When she refused his advances, the man strangled her to death.

CHANGWON - The 2011 World K-pop Festival was held in Changwon on December 7th, with over 10,000 fans packing the Changwon Venodrome. The festival was organized by KBS TV and Changwon City in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Presidential Council on Nation Branding.
