BUSAN, South Korea -- South Korea is pushing to schedule football friendly matches against Mexico and Ecuador in the United States for early next year, officials here said today. 

An official with the Korea Football Association (KFA) said that the national team will train in Brazil and the United States for three weeks in January next year. He also said that during this time, they hope to schedule matches against Mexico and Ecuador. 

South Korean officials haven't announced the dates, but San Antonio's local media reported earlier this week that South Korea and Mexico will play at the Alamodome at 8 p.m. on Jan. 29.
