School Trips Resume Around the City

School trips for elementary, middle and high schools in Busan, which have been tentatively stopped after the Sewol Ferry disaster, have resumed.

Beginning this morning, Geumjeong High School students became the first Busan high school to go on a school outing since all trips were suspended in wake of the ferry accident.

According to the Busan Education Office, 213 schools — including 65 schools in September, 110 schools in October, 33 schools in November and 3 schools in December — will carry out school field trips during the second semester.
