BUSAN, South Korea -- Politicians and feminist activists in Busan suggested building a monument of peace which will honor Korea's Comfort Women. 

Park Min-sik, a member of ruling Saenuri Party, held a press conference in the Busan Metropolitan Counil briefing room, denouncing a request to demolish the peace monument in Glendale, California, United States and suggested to build a peace statue in the city. 

Feminism groups, including Busan Women's Group committee and Busan Women's Solidarity also suggested to build a statue in order to oppose tearing down the American statue.
