Parents’ Group in Busan began a movement to refuse teacher evaluations, saying that the Teacher Ability Development Evaluations for evaluating the abilities and guidance work of teachers is compulsively and formally being carried out.
Parents pointed out that it is virtually impossible to evaluate the quality of teachers objectively with only one open class and said that the evaluation is not effective.
It is assumed that the number of teachers subject to the evaluation in Busan is currently around 30,000 people.
