BUSAN, South Korea -- The official poster of the 8th Busan Fireworks Festival has been unveiled.

The Busan Fireworks Festival Poster Contest was held from March 2 until April 2 and 436 entries were submitted. The first prize poster was awarded to Park Hee-jeong as the official poster of the 8th Busan Fireworks Festival. The poster depicts the magnificent fireworks embroidering the night sky of Gwangalli Beach through the use of colorful acrylic paints. 

The 8th Busan Fireworks Festival, scheduled to be held from October 26-27, 2012, is co-hosted by Busan City and organized by the Busan Culture and Tourism Festival Organizing Committee. On October 26, a K-POP concert will be held at Busan Asiad Stadium from 7pm and the Busan multi fireworks show is scheduled to be held the very next day, on October 27, at Gwangalli Beach at 8pm.
