Bun Bun The MC
A legendary Rub-A-Dub MC in Osaka reggae/dub scene. His name is always billed first as a special guest on the most of heavyweight bass music lives/parties featuring big name foreign artists. He started MC performance since he was in the legendary reggae club LABIRISH. In 2000, he started activity as a vocalist of the legendary dub band 'Bush Of Ghosts' and as a drummer of 'Ichi bang boshi crew'. Many LPs and 45s from these works were released and got to sold out rapidly. In addition, he was organizing the reggae mixture party 'Japanese Renaissance' for 19 times. He has also performed at Fuji Rock Festival and lots of big festivals in Japan. In 2007, he released long-awaited solo album 'Tribe Called West' and it was selected in year-end list of various magazines and record stores including Tower records. In 2008, he was introduced on BBC Worldwide by famous DJ Gilles Peterson. In recent years, he started world tour in some countries like Thailand, UK and Belgim.
