SEOUL, South Korea - The Korean Baseball Organization surprisingly has rejected a bid by Suwon to become the 10th team in the league yesterday. Many had projected Suwon to be accepted as the 10th team, but the ten member panel rejected against the creation of the team.

“The board of directors reached an agreement that it needs more time to discuss the issue,” a KBO public relations official said.

Changwon's NC Dinos were established last year and is currently playing in the minors. The ninth team will join the league next season.
