New Zoo Struggling to Attract Visitors

The only local zoo in Busan, The Park, has been seeing declining patronage after 100 days of being open.

According to the zoo, the number of visitors in May marked 150 thousand, and soon afterwards saw a sharp drop to 50 thousand in June, and 30 thousand in July.

The Park explained that the reason for the plummet is due to bad weather. However, some citizens complained that that the admission fee is too expensive and some exhibits are not interesting.
