This year’s last sunset will set around 5:21 pm tomorrow, with the first sunrise rising around 7:32 am on New Year’s day in Busan and Gyeongnam.
Ideal places to watch the sunset are Silan Beach Road in Sacheon, Mirokdo Dalla Park in Tongyong, Myungsa Beach in Goeje, Sachon Beach in Namhae, Junam Reservoir in Changwon, and Dadaepo beach in Busan.
On New Year’s morning, ideal locations to watch the sunrise are Chunwangbong Jiri Mountain, Geumsan Boriam in Namhae, Haegeum River and Mongdeulgae in Goeje, Chunjabong in Jinhae, and Gwangalli Beach and Haeundae in Busan.
There is a 30% chance of rain forecasted for New Year’s Eve with temperatures expected to hit a high of 9’C early, then cooling off considerably in the evening to a low of -5’C. New Year’s Day is expected to be cold this year with a high of only 3’C forecasted around the region.
