The grand opening of the new ice rink at Haeundae Beach has been delayed due to the recent warm weather.
An official from the Haeundae District Office revealed that the entire construction process has been delayed due to last month’s rainfall and temperatures above 15 degrees. The opening ceremony, originally scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed until December 12.
However, officials say that the rink will be opened before December 12 if preparations for the ice can be completed before the deadline.
Meanwhlie, Haeundae Ice Festival, which was prepared to celebrate the opening of the ice rink, will take place tomorrow at Haeundae beach as planned.
