BUSAN, South Korea -- The time to move into the Daeyeon Innovative-city apartments has been set for next month. The massive apartment complex is located behind Kyungsung University, on an old empty army base about 500 meters past Hwangryeong Tunnel.

The project was specifically built as a residence for executives and staff of public institutions to be moved to Busan. However, a failure in the plan is expected because the moving of institutions is being delayed.

An official of Busan Metropolitan Corporation said 1,200 households among total 2,300 households were provided specially to executives and staff of thirteen public institutions including Korea Asset Management Corporation. But the number of institutions to move in this year is only at four. It is expected that there will be a delay in moving into Daeyeon Innovative-city.
