A baseball complex consisting of the Korea Baseball Hall of Fame, a baseball stadium and indoor practice fields will be established in Busan.
A Gijang-gun official revealed that the county has begun construction on the complex located in 425-1, Dongbaek-ri, Ikwang-myeon.
Four baseball fields for public use will also be built at the site.
After the completion of the ground work at the end of October, Hyundai Motors will begin assisting with the construction, which is scheduled to be completed in June 2016.
The company will then donate the complex to the city.
