Nearly 1 Million Citizens to Leave Busan For Chuseok

Around 980,000 Busan residents are expected to make a trip to their hometowns over the Chuseok holiday.

The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency forecasts that 400,000 households, about 28 percent of the city’s population, will visit their native city during the holiday. Among them 87 percent are expected to travel by car.

Police say that the most congested times for traffic will be in the morning of Saturday, September 26th, and in the afternoon of Sunday, the 27th.
