Two Russian Pacific Fleet naval vessels are docked in Busan for the next four days with the crew members set to take part in an exchange and volunteer program with their counterparts in the South Korea Navy.

The guided-missile cruiser Varyag and the tanker Pechenga made the port call Tuesday as part of a regular exchange program set up by South Korea’s Naval Operations Command with the United States, Russia, and other countries to nurture peaceful partnerships in the APAC region.
