Busan Gangseo-gu police arrested a 46-year-old Mr. Lim on a charge of filing false reports by habitually calling 112 and 119 emergency services at night.
Lim made his latest false report by claiming he is committing suicide and called 112 and 119 to the front of an apartment in Busan Shinho-dong on the 20th of last month. When the authorities arrived, he launched into an expletive tirade at the police who were sent after receiving the report about him from dispatchers.
He is under the charge of falsely reporting incidents up to 125 times in the past eight months from February of this year and obstructing the execution of police duties.
