Vietnamese Student Takes Busan's Korean Speech Contest Grand Prize

Every year the Busan city government puts on a Korean language speech contest. Nearly 20 contestants made made their way to the stage, but only one walked away victorius (and with a hefty 500,000 won), a 22-year-old Busan University of Foreign Studies student from Vietnam, Thahn Thuy

The Best of the Rest

Two Siver Prize Winners (400,000 won each)

    - Li Nan 27, China, PNU

    - Anthony 16, France, Busan International School

Three Bronze Prize Winners (300,000 won each)

   - Batjargal Budbayar 24, Mongolia, Kosin Univ.

   - Han Yong Hee 22, Japan Dong-A Univ.

   - Jian Shi Chao 25, China Kosin Univ

All participants received a 100,000 won for making it in the contest
