The EPL side Liverpool have cancelled their scheduled July 19th encounter with FC Seoul due to "mitigating circumstances."
Many believe that Liverpool, due to play in China and Malaysia during an Asian preseason tour, cancelled their trip to Korea due to the ongoing scandal in the K League.
According to goal.com, an official from FC Seoul told The Korea Times that discussions had broke down following the recent K-League match-fixing scandal.
Korea has been host to many premier clubs over the past few years, including Euro Champion Barcelona last year. However, many fans were disappointed that key players from the squad played limited minutes, and lacked effort for the expensive price of tickets for the matches.
