Moon Tae-young won the MVP of the Korean All Star Game Sunday afternoon in Seoul, helping the Dream Team to a 143-119 victory over the Magic Team.
Moon scored 24 points, added 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals. Rod Benson was also a favorite to take the award, as he scored 24 points and added 15 rebounds. Yang Dong-geun scored 17 fourth quarter points to lead the Dream Team with 25 points.Eric Sandrin (Lee Seung-joon) led all scorers with 27 points and six rebounds. Incheon’s Moon Tae-jong added 20 points and six rebounds, while DeShawn Sims added 19 points and five rebounds.
The Sonic Boom took three contest titles on the day, with Charles Rhodes and Kim Hyun-min winning the dunk contests for import and domestic players, while Cho Sung-min won the shooting star award.
Jeon Tae-poong also won the three point competition.
