The Busan Foundation for International Activities (BFIA) will hold the ‘2015 Korean Speech Contest’ to motivate and enhance the likelihood of foreigners in Busan learning Korean. The contest will be held in the Culture Hall on the 10th floor of Lotte Department Store’s Gwangbok branch, on November 6th, from 3-5pm.
At this contest, foreigners recommended by universities, international schools and other institutions supporting foreigners in Busan, will show off their talents by making speeches on different themes as individuals. The team that best cheers on the other participants will also be awarded a prize.
Any citizen can come and watch the contest for free, as well as enjoying the additional events taking place, such as various special performances and a prize draw. There are plenty of prizes on offer for all visitors, such as domestic flight ticket, ferry tickets to Shimonoseki, hotel accommodation tickets, buffet restaurant vouchers and so on.
