Korea-China-Japan Children’s Art Exhibition

THE HAPS

The Busan Foundation for International Activities (BFIA) will hold an awards ceremony for the ‘Korea-China-Japan Art Exhibition for Children,’ a cultural tour and student exchange event, from August 16-18. The art exhibition will be held at Busan City Hall from August 16 – 22 and at the Yeongdo Cultural and Art Center from August 25 – September 12, 2014.

The exhibition aims to cultivate global leaders through art exchanges between the three major port cities of Busan, Shanghai and Fukuoka, understand the culture of each other’s city and also promote friendship.

This occasion is especially meaningful for Busan as it will be the city’s first time to host the event. Busan is inviting the award-winning children and their parents from Shanghai and Fukuoka to participate in the awards ceremony and the exhibition.

From July 25-28, a total of 12 children who won prizes at the Shanghai Art Exhibition participated in the event’s opening ceremony. Busan plans to send 12 children to Fukuoka from August 18-20 for student exchanges.

For more information, please contact the BFIA at (051) 668-7916.
