A young man claiming to be a son of the half-brother of North Korea’s leader says that his father has been murdered.
The man identified himself as Kim Han-sol from North Korea in a video that he uploaded on a video-sharing website.
In the 40-second video, the man said he is currently with his mother and sister, expressing hope that the situation will get better soon.
He showed his official passport to reveal his identity, but the video did not disclose details of the passport.
If the man in the clip is confirmed to be Kim Han-sol, the video probably was made days after North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s half-brother Kim Jung-nam was killed in Malaysia.
