The Korean Baseball Organization will take 16 days off in September while the Incheon Asian Games are underway according to a league official. The KBO will not play any games from September 15-30 while many of the league’s top stars represent the country in order to try to repeat as champions. Play will resume again on October 1st.
“The KBO teams have their key players named to the national squad, and we wanted to minimize the impact that the Asian Games would have on their regular season play,” the league official said.
Baseball games will be played from September 21 – 28.
