ULSAN, South Korea – The Busan I'Park remain winless on the season, as they lost 2-1to Ulsan Hyundai in front of 4,856 fans at the Munsu World Cup Stadium, Wednesday night, in the first round of the Rush Cash Cup.
Man of the Match Kim Shin-wook scored two goals for Ulsan, the first in the 19th minute, and the second, a minute after halftime to give Ulsan a 2-0 lead. Ulsan dominated most of the match, as the I'Park failed to create chances, and were outshot by Ulsan 15-6.
The I'Park continued their road losing streak, in which they haven't won away from home since July 25, 2010. Though manager Ahn Ik-soo adjusted the lineup, they committed 22 fouls, compared to 28 in the previous two games. Ulsan, which suffered defeats to Daejon and Gyeongnam to start the season, recorded their first win.
Busan scored on an own goal by Ulsan's Kang Min-soo's mistake when he tried to cover Choi Jin-ho and the ball accidently went into the net in the 63rd minute.
