BUSAN, South Korea -- A recent report shows that the average July temperature in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam was 26.8 degrees, which is 2.1 degrees higher than the normal year's temperature of 24.7 degrees. 

According to the analysis on the temperature of July by Busan weather agency, the average temperature of Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam was 26.7 degrees and the average high was 31.1 degrees. 

26.8 degrees is the fourth highest since 1973 and 31.1, which is two degrees higher than the normal year's temperature, is the fifth highest. 

The number of the tropical nights, in which overnight temperatures were over 25 degrees, was 6.4 days on the average, which held the second rank after 1973. 

The rainfall was 236 millimeters, which was only 79.1 percent of 298.8 millimeters, the normal year's rainfall.
