BUSAN, South Korea - The Busan IPark extended their unbeaten streak to eight games, with an impressive 2-0 victory of Daegu FC at the Asiad World Cup Stadium Sunday afternoon.

Park Jong-woo put the IPark ahead in the 40th minute, when Matt McKay’s pass escaped the defender leaving Park alone to hammer home a left-footed shot to take the early advantage.

Daegu generated its best scoring chance just after the hour, but failed to convert past IPark keeper Jeon Sang-wook. Daegu had a few chances in the last several minutes of regulation but again came up empty.

Han Ji-ho deflated any aspirations of a draw in extra time, as he connected off a deft cross and drove a shot which deflected off Hwang Soon-min for an own goal.

The victory was the fourth straight for the IPark, who remain in fifth place in the table with 22 points.
