Inside the Giants – Grading the Pitchers

It's not been a stellar year for the Giants pitchers again unfortunately this season. With new additions, the new look staff was projected to improve upon last year, though it has been a rollercoaster ride again for the fellas on the mound. Here's a few grades on a few of the key members of the staff.
Ryan Sadowski – Missed the first few weeks of the season, which was a real downer, as they really needed his arm to lead the team. Has pitched well upon his return, with a 1.90 ERA. Grade: A
Jang Won-jun – Has been the most conistent so far, and with five wins so far, he's been the go-to guy for quality outtings this year. Grade: A
Song Seung-jun – Leads the team with 41 K's, and has had a couple of rocky starts, but remains consistent. The only bad thing is the offense consistenly fails to score when he's on the mound. Grade: B+
Bryan Corey – Started off the year unhittable, but opponents seemed to have figured him out more as the season goes on. The move to the bullpen hasn't helped his needed productivity. Grade: B+
Im Kyung-won – Has been a consistent reliever so far, a much needed asset for a team with a lack of quality pitching. Grade: A
Lee Jae-gon – A rough year for the sidearmer, he finally showed some promise last game after a horrendous beginning to the season. Grade: F
Bullpen – Another year, another disappointment. Grade: D-
