BUSAN, South Korea — March roars in like a lion this weekend with a full calendar of events, enough to get everyone excited about what the spring has in store for the city.
A couple huge concerts and parties are here to help end the last free weekend for most teachers as the school bells will start ringing on Monday. The Ska Wakers, Pinnacle the Hustler, and a 90’s themed party are just a few of the fun things happening this weekend, as well as the beginning of the K League football season, some crucial basketball games and arts, more music and a huge yoga festival to round things up.

Ska Wakers @ Soul Trane – The re-opening of Soul Trane gets underway in a big way Saturday evening with the Ska Wakers, many more bands and even more drink promos. Saturday, 9 p.m., Soul Trane, PNU.

LG Sakers vs. KT Sonic Boom @ Sajik Gymnasium – KT looks to gain ground on a playoff spot with a key battle against Ira Clark and LG. Saturday, 2 p.m., Sajik Gymnasium, Sajik-dong.
Busan IPark vs. Gangwon @ Asiad World Cup Stadium – The K League kicks off this weekend, and you can catch the IPark for their first game on the pitch this Sunday. Sunday, 2 p.m., Asiad World Cup Stadium, Sajik-dong.
2nd Korea Yoga Festa @ BEXCO: Those into yoga may want to check out the huge Yoga Festa taking over BEXCO this weekend in Haeundae. Friday through Sunday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., BEXCO, Haeundae.
Artsy Fartsy Contest @ Basement – Under the theme ‘PNU’, anyone can enter their photos, drawings, songs or whatever, and become a legend in the bar with your works framed at the Thirsty Moose. Saturday, 7 p.m., The Basement, PNU.
Tanaka Akihiro Guitar Concert @ Haeundae Cultural Center – Legendary Japanese guitarist Tanaka Akihiro is in town to play some great classical guitar to the masses in Haeundae. Sunday, 5 p.m., Haeundae Cultural Center, Haeundae.
