BUSAN, South Korea — Another weekend has finally arrived, and with the great weather that Busan has enjoyed this year, it's time to plan your weekend accordingly.
This weekend brings some interesting options, including the Art Show Busan, the musical talents of Jason Mraz and, of course, the Busan Haps Issue 19 launch party, which is the third anniversary of the magazine.

Jason Mraz – Love him or hate him, Jason Mraz has a big following on the peninsula, and brings his musical talents to BEXCO this Friday night. Friday, 8 p.m., BEXCO, Haeundae.
Opera La Traviata – With the new BEXCO opening up last weekend, it starts a month-long celebration of opera, with Opera Traviata this Saturday night. Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 5 p.m., BEXCO, Haeundae.
Double Negative @ Dazzle – Love art and music? Come see new paintings by Sarah Elminshawi and Robin Kimmerling. Electronic sets by Maundrie Fox and DJ Mixcoatl. Acoustic sets by Grant Moxham and Gorka Coria. Saturday, 9 p.m., Dazzle, PNU.
Sir Snaf @ Sharky’s Haeundae – Busan's meandering Englishman will lay down four hours of bonafide summertime beats, mixed and cut to shake the sand from your gooch and the salt off your wobblies. Saturday, 10 p.m., Sharky’s, Haeundae.
2012 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix – It’s not often you get to see the best in volleyball come to the city, but the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix will celebrate its 20th edition when the world's premier annual women's tournament takes place this weekend at Sajik with some preliminary matches. Friday through Sunday, Sajik Gymnasium, Sajik-dong.
Baseball – The Giants are in town over the weekend for a three-games series with the KIA Tigers. Friday through Sunday, Sajik Stadium, Sajik-dong.
River Sports Festival – The River Sports Festival features the best in aquatic sports, and takes place on the rivers around the city through June 10. Friday through June 10, West Nakdong River, Nakdong River, Suyeong River
Art Show Busan – With over 72 galleries attending, about 500 artists showing 2,000 pieces of work will be showing at Art Show Busan 2012 this weekend. There is an entrance fee, and at 3 p.m. daily, there is an English tour service available for 5,000 won. Thursday through Sunday, 1 a.m. – 7 p.m. (11 a.m – 5 p.m. Sunday), BEXCO, Haeundae.
The Choice of Cannes – Check out some great flicks over the weekend with the Choice of Cannes, which finishes its two week run next Wednesday at the Busan Cinema Center this weekend. Through June 13, Busan Cinema Center, Centum City.
Shakespeare in the Park – Join Shakespeare in Busan for their last shows at the picturesque Dalmaji outdoor amphitheater for one of Shakespeare's funniest and most romantic plays, Much Ado About Nothing. A talented cast featuring Busan regulars and experienced newcomers will be there to bring you another great day in the park! Saturday and Sunday, 3 p.m., Dalmaji Hill, Haeundae.
