BUSAN, South Korea — The end of a rainy week is approaching, but the weekend promises to lift the spirits with a lot of fun events going on around the city.
This weekend is highlighted by the 2012 Sunset Festival spotlighting some great bands, as well as an exciting Spielberg/Eastwood movie fest, local sports and live music to keep you entertained.

Live Music @ The Wolfhound – It's Robscenity's turn for the fourth of the Woflhound's weekly acoustic sets this month, and the "pour your own doubles" are on tap as well at Busan's favorite Irish pub. Friday, 10 p.m., The Wolfhound, Haeundae.
Metallica Tribute @ Vinyl Underground – Enter Busandman, Busan's Metallica tribute band, will be playing their last show this Friday at Vinyl. It's a great show if you haven't seen it, with Millstone Grit also on the bill for the evening. Friday, 10 p.m., Vinyl Underground, Kyungsung University.
BASSment 1st Anniversary Party @ Almost Famous – BASSment Collective are so proud to announce that world-famous DJ SOULSCAPE from 360 Sounds Seoul, acclaimed in the Korean music scene, and QUANDOL will be performing at BASSment first anniversary party at Almost Famous KSU. Saturday, 10 p.m. – late, Almost Famous, Kyungsung University.
2012 Sunset Festival @ Songjeong Beach – Two days of great reggae and ska music hit Songjeong Beach this weekend, with local favorites One Drop East, and stars Every Single Day amongst the 30 or so acts on the schedule. Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m., Songjeong Beach.
Lotte vs. Doosan – The Doosan Bears hit Sajik Stadium this weekend for a three-game series against the local favorite Lotte Giants in KBO action. Friday – Sunday, 5 p.m, Sajik Stadium, Sajik-dong.
K League: Busan IPark vs. Sangju – Last year's scandal ridden Sangju FC, otherwise known as the military's soccer team, visit Sajik to take on the IPark in an important K League match. Sunday, 7 p.m., Asiad World Cup Stadium, Sajik-dong.
Eastwood/Spielberg Movie Festival @ Busan Cinema Center – The BCC is screening movies from the two legends that started Thursday, with some great flicks scheduled all weekend. Through September 6, 11 a.m. – evening, Busan Cinema Center, Centum City.
US Voter Registration @ Seaman's Club – Time for registering to vote in this year's election is winding down, so if you're an eligible US voter, here is your chance to make your voice heard. Saturday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., Seaman's Club, Choryang-dong.
Busan International Ad Festival @ BEXCO – AD Stars is one of the biggest advertising festivals in Asia, and is running this weekend at BEXCO in Haeundae. August 23-25, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., BEXCO, Haeundae.
