Near Busan Station, it attracts thousands of Japanese tourists each year. A museum dedicated to the calligraphy and paintings of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese artists, the Hankwang was founded in 1975, but didn't become an official museum until 1996.

It contains more than 500 works that were collected over a 50-year period by the late Kwangduk Han. Although only a fraction of its collection is exhibited at any given moment, it is a wonderful way to glimpse the talents of brush painters and see traditional landscapes of Asia spanning works from the Joseon Dynasty through present time.
