Do you want laughter, fun, and a bloody good night out?
Well, take a train to Hongdae in Seoul.
Failing that why not come to see a local comedy open mic in beloved Busan at HQ bar!
The Ha ha hole has been going on in Busan for 4 years now and has a wide range of comedians performing (well, mostly middle aged university teachers with too much spare time on their hands). Nevertheless, the Hole is a great place to see some good live comedy and a man dancing to novelty 90’s pop songs.
Best of all, it’s FREE (otherwise, even I wouldn’t bother with it) although we do ask those who attend to have respect and take their conversations outside.
As ever, it’s an OPEN mic, so why not try your luck onstage, if only for a minute or two. You could be a natural and you’ll never know. Songs, poems, mime, puppetry, reciting the speeches of Bismark in the voice of Michael Jackson (comedy gold if you ask me)… anything you got, kid, so long as you’re trying to make the audience laugh. All acts get a max 7 minutes. Sign up’s from 9:30 and it’s fine to add your name to the list during the show.
Once again, the show starts at 10pm.
Hosted by The only Goth in Busan, from The North of England,
