BUSAN, South Korea -- The Lotte Giants have added ex-LG Twins pitcher Chris Oxspring to the roster to take over for the injured Scott Richmond. Richmond injured his knee earlier in the spring and will be out a minimum two more months according to local reports.

Oxspring made his professional debut for the San Diego Padres in 2005, and compiled a 0-0 MLB record with 11 strikeouts and a 3.75 ERA. He last pitched for LG in 2009 and had a 14-15 career record in the KBO with 151 strikeouts and a 3.71 ERA. He has been pitching for the Sydney Blue Sox for the past three years, with a short stint with the Toledo Mud Hens in 2011.

The 35-year-old Oxspring made two appearances as the staff ace of Team Australia in the 2013 World Baseball Classic, allowing just three runs across 7.2 innings pitched against Chinese Taipei and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
