Hey everyone!
Some interesting answers to the question last week. The debate about corporal punishment is interesting, both from the students perspective and the teacher's perspective. It is sure to be in the news for awhile.
Onto this week's question: Many people in Korea do not think that Korea is an advanced nation, however, with global companies, hosting of many international events, and a standard of living equal to that of advanced countries, Korea should be considered an advanced country. What is your opinion: Is Korea an advanced country?

IT sector and the world comes
IT sector and the world comes to speed the flow of the developed countries to follow that there is no doubt.
However, lack the technical side makes situation that use other countries company's products.
In addition, the fast-changing society, people should have more than that of developed countries in the developed world seems to be lack of awareness.

I think that Korea's
I think that Korea's technique, domestic industry, semiconductor or so are higher than advance other country.
But today the public society's order, thinking about the old and filial piety lower than old days.
Because I think likely that domestic industry develop faster than public's consciousness.
But if that's grade was high, my country, the Korea, would be one of the most advanced nation.

In my Opinion, Korea is advanced country in the part IT, Economy and so on
Korea has developed tremendously in the IT, Economy
But, it is still inadequate in many parts
Therefore many Koreans should try to develop better.

Correctly say that Korea is advanced country or not is difficult.
I think that Korea is advanced country in part IT.
I always hear Korea internet speed is best and so many part.
So I say that Korea is advanced country in part IT.

I think that Korea is still
I think that Korea is still early to call the developed world.
However, in developed countries will be called soon.
I know not much about the economy, but South Koreans believe that the passion will be enough to include.
'Miracle on the Han River' was the term.
Korea's economy is now not even imagine the level in the past, respectively.
South Korea will as ever soar again.
I believe so.

The standard of advanced
The standard of advanced country is uncertain. If relatively we appraise the meaning, the korea can't talk about advanced.
But you might answer to me. Korea is the one of member in the OECD. Yes,It is true. so i want to tell you the fact on relative perspective.
For example, Let's compare with USA. The whole korean stock market is just 2% of the USA stock market.
Next, the annual budget of one state airline in the USA having 50 state is equal to korean annual budget.
hmm... like this. there is no end. It is shy to say about advanced.

In my opinion, Korea is not an advanced country.
Perhaps Korea is nearly advanced in economically, But not yet in citizen consciousness.
Because There is a weak sense of community in Korea.
And some of Korean have no consideration for others.
So many Korean politicians or industrialist seek immediate gains.
This is a big reason for Korea is not an advanced country.

but korea culture is not advanced
advanced country take equal right for sexes for granted, however korea is still remain patriarchism
so, korea is not advanced country , It is taking a step nearly to advanced country

What is your opinion: Is Korea an advanced country?
Hmm , i want to say, Korea is advanced country ,but i do not think our country is
we do still separate with north and south , that's quite big matter that we can't be advanced country
North Korea live in liberal democracy life so we can live and pursue for our warfare life but South is not ,they are live in communism living .so they are strong by themselves but we get interference by other country(US, Japan..and so on)so we can't make nuclear for war weapon so it's difficult to say that we are advance country by ourselves but if North and South are combined together, than we can be more strength and live warfare life with our another Family(North Korea)
I think that Korea is not advance perfect but its not in development. It is more in between. Korea has many big cities, subways, good schools, tourist city and adcance technology.
Korea only has few bad problems. People still don't have good manner; they push but don't apologize. People spit and smoke on street. Also rich people and poor people difference is very big. Poor stay poor and rich are more rich. Also Korea has good company like LG Hyundai and Samsung but still we need more large companies. I think advance country people are kind and have good manner and care for everyone in the country not only them so when koreans change mind korea will also be advanced.
