Hi all..

Glad I found your website.. just moved to Busan and am trying to figure things out here!

Where are the best food places to go in the city? And where is good to go meet people?

Diggin the city so far... is kyungsung the best place to go? or Haeundae?

thanks!

hi!

I just moved to Busan as well, and still don't exactly know where to go either... Just arrived about 2 days ago, so trying to figure out where to go... I live in Haeundae... I've walked around a little bit and saw some interesting places around the beach.

Hoping to try some good Korean food too... but don't know how to order it :( Any recommendations whats good?

hi Tinajay!

We are in the same boat it looks like! I've tried to do a little exploring around the city (I got lost a lot!) but I went to the beach the other day and it was really nice.

Try to find the Korean places that have pictures, that's what I've done! I tried some bibimbob and it was really good. I am going to try something new everyday, at least until I can get some stuff to cook.

I heard there is a Costco here? Any idea how to get there?

thanks for your response...I guess we are in the same boat:)

I went around Haeundae last night, and found a couple of nice places as well... There's so many stores! I ended up eating at some place that was in some kind of mall, and it was pretty good...I met another girl who lives near my apartment, so she showed me around...

I don't know about the Costco.. but that would be nice!

Costco is here and has been so for about a year and a half now.

Here is the link so you can find it:

Best idea would be to print the map and give it to the taxi driver.

Cheers.

The supermarkets here are quite the adventure! Loud and crowded, but not a bad selection anyways!
