Hi everyone,
This week's topic is about safety in Korea. These days, there have been some bad incidents in the country (in Suwon, and recently the young girl in Busan).
The question is: Do you think it is safe to be out late at night by yourself? Or is Korea becoming more dangerous?

South Korea alone is dangerous to walk around late at night.
In particular, high-risk women than men.
News gradually comes out of the night there are other crimes.
In order to solve this problem, the government will soon be presented is the solution.

Most people think bad things could happen for another one, not for themselves.
Thesedays, it is reported that many female university students have been kidnapped and murdered in the news.
Women have to realize how risky it is and go back home early.
I also didn't think it is not that dangerous to be out late at night. But I care about my safety after that news
.
Prank calls are one of the reasons in these accidents. They make police confuse.
But Police should have dealed with it seriously.
I hope horrible things would stop. I wanna be safe on my way home.

I don't walk around at night.
Recently, a lot of crime incidents occurred.
In other words, security very weakened.
Before, I even had a walk in the evening, and exercise.
Now I don't go out at night.
I think South Korea is tolerant of criminals.
Sexual offenses, assault, murder, etc. are very generous.
South Korea safety ought to be strict about the criminals.

I think...
I think to walk away by myself at night is so dangerous.
It is not only for our country.
However Korea is different from other countries, specially.
Becuase Korea have develpoed culture at night.
For example, convenience stores and pubs and restaurants
and so on. It is the reason why people go around by
themself at late night, I guess.
It is so dangerous things. Even though many safity
systems are advanced than past, it is not safe to walk
alone. Not only woman, but man.
So people should go home early or shouldn't get around
alone at night.
In addition, state try to make laws about ragulation for
24-hours facilities.

especially during about 4~5 years the social class level as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer
has pointed out serious problems in Korea. people feel in anger at the current social structure
which is injustice, unfairness, unfaith.
the desperate atmosphere of society occurs that some people make to commit a crime.
there are many kinds of bad incidents but terrible incidents always target for women as women are weaker than criminals
and for long history, women have been victims for criminals like monsters.
I'm quite sure Korea is becoming more dangerous place people go out late at night especially for women.
Korean culture as you can see there are lots of pubs, clubs, places which people can stay up to hang out over a night.
If you are with friends or around you are full of people that's ok but just by yourself walk down the street at night,
please bring something for self-protection, ensuring your safety for self-defense.

Change the law more strong like America.
I think Korea becoming more dangerous because there aren't special measure about criminal.
In Korea many criminal have benefit. they are sentenced to four to six years imprisonment when they sexually assault.
Even they kill several person, they never die although they are sentenced to death.
This government's act passively is reason that Korea becoming more dangerous.
We wish want to become more safety in Korea. we could change the law to more strong like U. S. A.
Add we have to be careful always at a night.

But, if I am a women I doesn't do that.
Today, Many crime are happens at night. This is very scared
And the response this criminal is needed.
I think korea becoming more dangeous.
Because, the current law is so weak.
Stronger law is needed.
So criminals are afraid of the law. Then they can't commit a crime.

In my opinion, to be out late at night is quite dangerous not only in Korea,
but in all country.
Although they have dependable security systems, every accident is easy to be happened in a dark night
because you can easily find drunken people in night and they're getting more aggressive than they don't drink.
It means there is possibility that they can make some accidents.
In addition, younger generation likes listening to music using phone or mp3 player but in this case
it's very hard to recognize that someone is approaching them.
I extremely agree that Korea is becoming more dangerous than before.
There are lots of reasons why our country is getting dangerous such as neglectful attitude of policeman,
but I think one of the reasons is due to punishment which is not so strong and doesn't take care of criminals
after setting free.
Government should provide more security system to citizen to make them safe, but before that
most important thing is that be sure do not go out late at night.
