BUSAN, South Korea -- According to Busan Jin-gu, Seomyeon Medical Street Medical Tour Association, 2,545 foreign tourists visited Seomyeon Medical Street last year. 1,511 visited the Medical Street two years ago, a 62.4 percent increase over 2012. 

The Medical Street saw 321 foreign visitors when it first opened in 2009. Last year's totals represent a 664% increase over its first year. 

Of nationality, 822 visitors were from Russia. Chinese and Japanese nationals also comprised a significant portion of the tourists.
