On May 19th the Megook Movement will be presenting Paid Dues at the Vinyl Underground in KSU. The show will be gathering a total of 8 expat hiphop acts from Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju and Seoul all together for one truly special night of hiphop music and culture in Busan.

Megook Movement (Gwangju)
The Megook Movement will soon be releasing two music videos to their tracks “Payback” and “Another day in the SK”. Started in late 2009, Megook Movement is a group of individuals’ committed to promoting Hip Hop music and culture in South Korea. The group will be touring Korea this spring doing shows in all the major cities of Korea. The movement is currently involved in DJ-ing, rapping, and producing, and has released "Listen and Repeat" and last fall dropped their second album, "Next Level Up". The DJ’s have also been playing at venues all over Korea, from Busan to Jeju Island. It all started in Gwangju, South Korea but is now being opened up to the world, helping to spread real HipHop culture. If you are a fan, singer, rapper, producer, dancer, graphic artisit, video maker, photographer or just have a love for music than join the movement and be prepared to put things in motion. JoshRoy has a unique sound that praised by audiences and fellow artists alike with numerous collaborations including Hip Hop and Reggae artists in S.Korea. He is a polyglot singer; he sings fusion Reggae (a mix of R&B, Hip Hop, Gospel, AfroPop and Reggae) in Luganda, Swahili, Gisu, and English. Josh’s latest songs are doing well the charts of Uganda’s Reggae Top 100 and looking forward to releasing more music in more countries soon. First coming to Korea on a visit in 2007, he ended up discovering a vibrant source of inspiration from encounters with artists from diverse artistic backgrounds which led to collaborations with Hip Hop artists in and out of Korea.
DA Green (Seoul)
DA Green (an ICONZ MEDIA LLC affiliate) is working on various projects including a solo album produced by Scotty Soul the Soul Scientist of South Africa and another solo album both to be released in 2012 as well as many various collaboration projects. He is set to release his new music video for the track "Far Away" (beat by Epik The Dawn/Produced by Oro Design). DA Green can be seen rockin' crowds all over Korea from Seoul to Busan, in Japan, the U.S. and across the globe. As his motto goes "Peace and Music."
Flowz Lyrical (Seoul)
Virginia's finest Lyric aka Flowz Lyrical has been rocking the mic since his late teens. He is also a poet and actor in which he landed his first gig playing a lawyer and stand in, in HBO's Recount starring Kevin Spacey. Currently residing in Seoul, South Korea in his second time around doing shows and was the former host of Itaewon's Open Mic at Bar Ireland Yuki. Also he had a guest appearance in MBC's High Kick 3 episode 52 in which he played the Reggae Hair Man via Park Ji Sun. Catch him rocking the stage May 19th at Vinyl Underground and be on the lookout for his up and coming mixtape/album!!

PMP Machine is a new multi-cultural band that plays a wide variety of Hip-Hop and R&B sounds. New on the scene, the band has already played several spots in Downtown Daegu. Bella, Nate, Eugene, Dave, JoJo, and Tae Yang make up the six members of PMP machine.
DJ Chad aka Fusion MC (Busan)
Local Busan MC and host of Midnight rider on EFM 90.5, Chad raps and freestyles in both Korean and English, creating an exciting blend of rhymes for all audiences. He was also recently featured in the Samsung series five commercial music video.
